What do they do for fun in Holland, Texas? Well, it doesn't seem to be paving the streets. About a third of the streets I drove down in this burg were dirt. Even streets coming right off the highway.
But they do have a sense of fun of some sort, apparently. For example, there was this carnival that was being set up, although I couldn't determine what was being celebrated. Other than the carneys, I saw no one under the age of 75 in Holland. And I actually saw a lot of people. It seems like the average age of the Fun Slide riders in Holland might be well above that of a normal carnival crowd.
