Whale Watching

We went on an afternoon whale watch with a tour guide from the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown and saw a total of five whales, including a trio made up of a mother named Warrior, her calf and an "escort" whale named Hancock. Almost all of the whales in these pictures of are that trio.

The Long Point lighthouse is at the most remote point on Cape Cod.

Two whales have come up head first to feed.

Headed back into port, we pass a fishing boat with its nets still in the water.
