Provincetown, Massachusetts
Our first stop in Provincetown was Race Point beach.
Eventually, we drug ourselves away from the beach and headed toward food and shelter. We stayed at a bed and breakfast called Snug Cottage, which is quite close to Commericial Street, the main drag of Provincetown. Of course, everything in Ptown is pretty close together. Here are a few picture of the grounds:
This last picture is right by the door to our room, which was an old porch with a nice fireplace.
We spent a bit of time just wandering around "downtown" Provincetown.
These boats were on the water right off Commericial St.
The chowder at Bayside Betsy's was amazing! We are nice and relaxed because we've just had spa pedicures.
One morning we rented bikes and took a ride on the nicely paved (and extremely hilly) bike trails to Race Point Beach.

At the old Race Point lifesaving station:
The story behind the lifesaving stations are pretty fascinating. This lifesaving station was open for less than 30 years and yet those manning this station went to the aid of 92 shipwrecked crews. This site has some good historical info about them.
